To use Oracle topology you must use the registered Oracle topology layer and therefore must use the included topology layer features (these are grayed out so as not to allow any other features to be used). As shown below for the Polygon Feature Setup, use the sub features that are already included in the topology feature collections for the Polygon, Linear and Node Features Setup.
